Aleeza L. Marashlian is an Attorney at Johnson & Johnson
Aleeza L. Marashlian graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School’s SCALE two-year accelerated program. While a law student, she successfully represented a client before the Ninth Circuit and obtained a remand to the Board of Immigration Appeals, her note advocating for rights resulting from a narrow application of copyright’s fair use doctrine was chosen for publication in the Southwestern Law Review, and she externed for judicial officers in both California Superior Court and Federal District Court. She received awards for high marks in her doctrinal classes and her work on Law Review, was a teaching assistant and a Dean’s Fellow, and served as a student member of the Diversity and Inclusion Faculty Committee.
Marashlian holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in film and television production from New York University, and continues to balance screenwriting and directing with her practice. She was recently a finalist in Sundance’s New Voices Lab for her episodic work chronicling the lives of working women in the studio system in 1930’s Los Angeles. She is passionate about using her legal knowledge and skills in representing artists and other entertainment industry stakeholders.
